Episode

A website for her practice

with Bernadett Dóka · Recorded 7 August 2026

A bilingual site she owns and can change herself: her services, a way to book her, and somewhere to put her writing.

Bernadett Dóka

The hero of this one

Bernadett Dóka

Psychologist · Grief Method Specialist · couple and family therapist in training

Sometimes life doesn't turn out the way we planned. A long-awaited child doesn't arrive, a relationship comes apart, a move pulls the ground from under us, or one day the work you loved stops bringing the same joy. The hardest part is often that nobody can see from the outside how big the loss was, which makes it easier to bury the feeling than to admit how much it hurts. That is most of what she works with.

Bernadett’s wishes and sessions →

“A proper website for my psychology practice, and I have never written a line of code.”

Bernadett’s wish · A bilingual site she owns and edits herself: her services, a way to book her, and somewhere to put her writing.

Worth stealing

Paste the error back, do not describe it

Every time something failed, the fix was to copy the whole terminal output, not just the last line, and hand it straight back. More of it is better, always.

Watch it happen · 45:00

Put the address bar in the screenshot

A broken page got fixed from a picture because the picture included the URL. A tight crop of the error alone leaves it guessing which page and which browser.

Watch it happen · 1:08:00

Give the key the smallest scope that works

The first API token could edit Workers and nothing else, and DNS access was added later when it turned out to be needed. Starting broad is easier, and it is the part you cannot take back.

Watch it happen · 20:30

Ask for six versions, not one

For anything you have to look at to judge, like a layout or a cut-out, asking for several at once and picking beats describing what you want. It costs more of the monthly quota, which is the trade.

Watch it happen · 1:37:00

Say it once as a standing instruction

“Always deploy when you are ready, don’t ask me” holds from then on. So does “always talk to me in English”. Anything you find yourself repeating belongs in that form.

Watch it happen · 2:02:00

Plan mode for anything you are unsure about

It writes down what it intends to do before doing any of it. His own honest version: for small things he does not read the plan either.

Watch it happen · 1:18:00

What happened, when

Every line opens the session at that moment.

  1. 0:00 How you say the name, and what the show is
  2. 1:30 Why the domain has to move to her own account
  3. 6:20 Living abroad, and the courses she wants to build
  4. 17:00 Adding the domain to Cloudflare, on the free plan
  5. 20:30 Making an API token, and giving it only what it needs
  6. 25:00 Last time’s photo tool: twenty versions and a gallery
  7. 31:00 Releasing the domain, and the transfer email
  8. 45:00 An error you do not understand is a thing you paste back
  9. 53:00 What it costs, and what happens when the quota runs out
  10. 1:05:00 The site deploys, and a translated page breaks
  11. 1:08:00 Fixing it from a screenshot, with the address bar in shot
  12. 1:18:00 Plan mode, and when it is worth reading the plan
  13. 1:19:00 Writing more than one line without sending it
  14. 1:22:00 Asking it to check the computer: firewall off, 55 GB free
  15. 1:37:00 The questionnaire: two hundred questions, six designs at once
  16. 1:51:00 Running six agents at once, and watching the quota fall
  17. 2:02:00 “Always deploy”, a standing instruction it keeps
  18. 2:08:00 Picking the free service over the one it suggested
  19. 2:10:00 Email on her own domain
Show notes

This is the second session. The first was on 5 August, setting up the Mac from nothing, before any of this existed. It has not been published anywhere.

The full story is the episode. The short version: she is a psychologist in Budapest, she had never written a line of code, and she built the site herself from a holiday in Croatia.

The prompt log

Rebuilt from the room audio: the prompts were typed on Bernadett Dóka’s screen and never recorded, but the show works by me saying them out loud. Each one says how it was recovered.

23 more from this session are about Bernadett Dóka’s own business and stay off the page.

Show prompts from
  1. 16:00 Unclear dictated on the tape

Hey, I lost track. Check the history and continue from our last session. Always talk to me in English.

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

  2. 25:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

You don't have to do anything. Good job, we can close this one and save everything to GitHub.

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

  3. 27:00 Agent 3 dictated on the tape

I never know which folder I am in. Can you update my prompt so it shows which folder I am in? I don't want to see my computer name and my username, just the folder.

Came back: The terminal prompt was updated so it showed the current folder. The host pointed out that they could now see they were in the project folder and that the tilde indicated the home folder.

  4. 37:00 Agent 3 dictated on the tape

Can you teach me how to navigate between folders? I have to start a new project in folders.

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

  5. 38:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

This is really hard to remember. Can you create me a how-to webpage in the resources folder instead, showing how to navigate between folders and start new projects?

Came back: The agent created a helper webpage in the resources folder explaining the basics, including folder navigation and copyable commands.

  6. 44:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

Good news, I have a domain and I have a Cloudflare account. Can you help me set up my website? What should I have to do?

Came back: The agent responded positively and instructed them to run npx wrangler login.

  7. 1:04:00 Unclear dictated on the tape

Review my computer health. I would like to see how much free space I have, whether I am using something fishy, and do your best to figure out if my computer is healthy.

Came back: The agent ran deeper checks. Later it reported that the Mac was clean with no malware, the firewall was off, the Mac had been running for 19 days, and memory was running low.

  8. 1:06:00 Agent 2 dictated on the tape

Can you install me some plugins for development? I wonder about content development and Context7, or what other plugins should I install?

Came back: The agent decided to check what plugins were available first.

  9. 1:14:00 Unclear dictated on the tape

Please check the free space as well.

Came back: The agent later checked disk space, and the host narrated that there were 55 GB free.

  10. 1:20:00 Agent 3 dictated on the tape

I have a big issue. Shift enter is not working. Can we fix it? It's really annoying. I'm not able to add a new line. I have no idea why it's not working.

Came back: The agent later instructed them to switch to a new terminal window and restart the terminal.

  11. 1:31:00 Unclear dictated on the tape

Hey, my Microsoft Word is not opening. Do you know why?

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

  12. 1:48:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

    okay

Came back: The host later said agent 1 was doing the changes, had completed the Hungarian part, and was working through its own task list.

  13. 1:51:00 Agent 3 dictated on the tape

    use workflows if you can

Came back: The host later said agent 3 was still thinking, then said it was building the engine and would create six UI variants and workers.

  14. 2:03:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

Always deploy, don't ask me to deploy. Always deploy when you are ready, don't ask me to deploy.

Came back: The host later read that the agent understood and would deploy next time without asking. The host then indicated the deployment had happened and checked the website.

  15. 2:09:00 Unclear dictated on the tape

Use Cloudflare instead of Resend. Cloudflare is free.

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

14 more. They are free; supporting just hides this box.
