“I want the signed documents to file themselves.”

Adrienn’s wish · Signed documents walk themselves out of the Dropbox inbox into the right client folder, instead of being carried across by hand.

The work that eats an accountant’s day is not the accounting. It is the moving.

A signed tax return lands in a Dropbox inbox. Somebody has to know whose it is, what it is, and which client folder it belongs in. Multiply that by every client and every quarter, and it is a job: one that cannot be skipped, cannot be got wrong, and is done by the person in the room whose time is worth the most.

None of it is hard. That is what makes it expensive.

The wish was to make the moving stop being a job at all.

Whose wish

Adrienn Volcz

Accountant and registered Tax Agent

She runs the accounting for small businesses that do not need a full-time bookkeeper: a few hours a month, or a few hours a week, whichever the business actually needs. Bookkeeping, payroll, BAS and GST, reconciliation, and the year-end accounts.

What happened

  1. Xero, Dropbox, OneDrive, and a new website 9 August 2026

Plan mode first, because this one touches real files and a wrong move loses a client's paperwork. It had to learn the folders rather than be told them, work out whether a name is a company or a person, and leave archived clients alone. It got that wrong once and was told so plainly. By the end it ran as a dry run first, mailed a report whenever it ran, and only saved a report that actually had data in it.

The prompt log

Rebuilt from the room audio: the prompts were typed on Adrienn Volcz’s screen and never recorded, but the show works by me saying them out loud. Each one says how it was recovered.

17 more from this session are about Adrienn Volcz’s own business and stay off the page.

  1. 55:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

Right now I would just like to test if it's possible. I don't want to send an email yet, I just want to have the capability to send an email. This was option number three, so you don't have to check the other options.

Came back: The agent later produced a long implementation plan for approval.

  2. 1:00:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

Give me a few bullet points on what your plan is before I approve it.

Came back: They reviewed the shortened plan enough to proceed, but the transcript does not report its contents.

  3. 1:02:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

    Go ahead.

Came back: The agent switched back to execution mode and began writing code.

  4. 1:20:00 Agent 1 paraphrased from the tape

Bad robot. Huge mistake. You did it wrongly again. This can be an individual client too, not just a company. How can we decide from the name whether it is an individual client or a company? Please fix or clarify this.

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

  5. 1:43:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

    Let's do it.

Came back: The agent's accounting discussion mentioned that STP depends on the client and not much on the individual.

  6. 1:46:00 Agent 1 inferred from the tape

I will check back when it's finished.

The reply was on the screen and the tape doesn’t say.

    /plugin reload

Came back: The plugins were updated.

  8. 3:08:00 Agent 1 dictated on the tape

    /mwk save

Came back: It saved the project by reviewing what had been done and sending it to GitHub. Later the host indicated it was ready and could be closed.
