This is the most common thing people arrive with, and the one where the gap between what it costs and what people think it costs is widest.

What comes out of a session

A psychologist in Budapest who had never written a line of code finished with a bilingual site for her practice, on a domain moved out of her brother’s account and into her own, deployed and live. She wrote her own copy. She has been changing it since without me.

A business owner in Hungary redesigned his company site on a domain bought during the session. A poker player in Thailand had a personal site generated as five different versions at once, then picked one.

What it costs

• The domain: around eight to ten US dollars a year.
• The hosting: nothing, on Cloudflare’s free plan, for a site this size.
• The agent: the price of a Claude subscription.

There is no monthly platform fee in that list because there is no platform. The site is files you own.

What goes wrong

Moving a domain somebody else registered for you is the slow part. It is not technically difficult and it is not quick either, because it runs on the losing registrar’s clock and involves an email to a person who may be on holiday. Start it before the session, not during it.

A translated page breaks differently from an English one. The fix in one session came off a screenshot, and it worked because the screenshot included the address bar. A tight crop of the error alone leaves the agent guessing.

Asking for one version wastes the advantage. For anything you have to look at to judge, ask for six and pick. It costs more of the monthly quota, and that is the trade.

What you are not getting

A designer. The site will be clean and it will be yours, and it will not be the thing an agency charges four thousand dollars for. For most people asking, that was never the question.
